Why is this so difficult? 1/2" ID female QD barb side

Does anyone know of a source that has stainless steel 1/2" ID (not OD) female quick disconnects on the barb side? It seems that every single source I have found only has 1/2" OD on the barb side.

It not the same style of disconnect, but I vastly prefer these:

While it will cost a little more, I used the 1/2" ID barbs from Brewers Hardware (both male and female) and the corresponding MNPT/FNPT version of the QD shown. I also use a lot of the MNPT version of the QD's going into an elbow and then the full flow barb on the other end of the elbow.

Ahh. So I guess I need to be looking for 'high flow' barbed female quick disconnects.
