never heard of this, had to google it to see what it even is, here's a thread where it was sorta discussed: https://www.homebrewtalk.com/f39/satellite-fermenter-5014/. I'm guessing that the answer is very few. Its just an extra few steps that most would rather not bother with and how do we even know whether the readings from the satellite are exactly the same as those in the main fermenter? I prefer to take my readings from the actual batch.
