I have brewed a True Brew Amber kit... after reading several posts here that said the beer was very bitter I decided to add 1 cup of dark brown sugar and 8 ounces of unsulfered molasses. I then soaked 1 whole vanilla beans seeds and all 3/4 tbs of cinnamon 1 tbs whole cloves and 3/4 tbs of nutmeg in some 40 proof vodka. I poured the spiced vodka bean, cloves and all into my secondary and racked my ale over it. I have now noticed large white clumps with dark specs.... I am hoping these specs are the vanilla bean seeds.... anyone seen anything like this ?

Noob...

Yeah looks like it is clumps of yeast/protein and some vanilla bean seeds.... just looked a bit crazy at first.... had only been in secondary for less than 24 hours..... thanks
