So, I wanted to try and build a whirlpool that was a little more easy on the budget than the standard design with the March Pump and Immersion chiller.

Part of this is me being cheap (i could afford the system but dont want to spend that much) and part of me wants to develope something much cheaper that can be built by anyone, since i enjoy tinkering and building stuff.

What i am thinking is a motor driven SS padel that is built onto a frame that also holds the copper immersion chiller.

I wanted to know if anyone has an example of this, or experiance that this is completely ineffective. If there is no history with this, i figure ill try it. I dont plan on mutilating my immersion chiller so i cant imagine this will cost me more than $50 (i have a tentative parts list with a cheap $10 motor)

Plus if this works (and works well) it would be hell of an easy DIY project for those of us who just dont want to use pumps (yet).
