LHBS is having a competition/tasting and a few brewers on hand.
First competition, looking forward to it. Should be fun.

Brewing with my home brew club at our local brewery. Have done it the last couple years. They give us pre-acidified, preheated mashing water and free yeast. Good times.

Flipping pancakes for my daughter's High School Band Boosters' Annual Pancake Breakfast Fundraiser. Come on out!

After that, at about noon, I'll be driving to a nearby town to brew beer and eat food and drink homebrew with the starting members of our local homebrew club.

Not sure if I'll be brewing my own beer this time. I've been very busy lately and might not have time to formulate a recipe and get everything together. It would make a nice opp. to brew, though.

Eh, maybe I'll try putting a recipe together at work today and see how it goes.

Sadly tomorrow I will be missing it all. But I do get to work on my Birthday while seeing everyone else talk about National Homebrew Day. lol

Ya'll have fun. Enjoy a few cold pints for me. :-(

I'll be brewing an ESB if I can get some more spring water today. Got the jugs sanitized & ready to go after I take my son to work.

I'm brewing a dry stout and another batch of my Lawnmower Blonde. My oldest son wants to help out and learn the process, should be fun.

Gonna be brewing a light American ale with my girlfriend who loves this brewing thing

Going to transfer a batch of cider to a secondary, and organize my brewing equipment per SWMBO's orders!

Getting close to time for my flavor & aroma hop additions on my ESB. I'll have both fermenters full, albeit a week apart this evening. :rockin:

My ESB is waiting to pitch. Driveway clear and car in garage. Best part of Brew Day: clean up is done!

So brewery brought 165 gallons of water @ 160*ish water for everybody to use. Fastest brew day ever/ easiest clean up ever. Cleaned up equipment in record time. All in all great national homebrew day.

Just finished sparging my wee heavy! Hit all my numbers so far. About to switch over propane tanks I think.

1.5 gallons of final runnings from other 2 batches and some light DME to bring gravity up to par. (Can't waste good sugars RIGHT??)

finally brewing my Grodziskie, 1/2way thru the 2-hour boil, just added 1st of 2 hops additions

several blow-outs in my immersion chiller, so we're going no-chill on this one, pitch in the morning

Finished the boil on the stout about 10 minutes ago. I now have a blonde ale in a bucket and the stout in the kettle. Both will no-chill tonight and I'll pitch yeast tomorrow. Good brew day. My son got his feet wet and seems like he enjoyed the process.

Brewed my first IPA at my LHBS. Went well even though I didn't come away with as much beer as I had hoped.

I almost forgot... The first shipment of the Bubba's Barrels / Big Poppa Smoker came today.

It is finally sinking in that I won this amazing prize.

Thanks again HBT and all the great sponsors!! This place rocks!

I got my ESB in the fermenter last night. The re-hydrated S-04 started fermenting sometime in the wee hours overnight. My Irish red's been in the FV a week today,& is finishing up with the occasional bubble. Nice to have both fermenters full again! And having my new bottling table set up will definitely speed things up on bottling day soon.
