When I was trying to obtain some PacMan I picked up 3 bombers of Rogue Irish Style Lager. On the bottle it is printed that it uses PacMan yeast, however if you read on Rogue's web site it says its a Czech Pils yeast.

Anyone have any idea which yeast it is?

My plan is to harvest it, try a 2gal simple SMASH split into 2 fermenters, ferment one at 65-68deg the other at 52-55deg, cold crash and 2 week cold storage both, taste test and see.

After harvesting and building up to a 1L starter, I am thinking the yeast is the Czech Pils. It has more of the Lager funk smell to it than aromatic ale smell.
