what is the right end

what is the right end to open a package of crackers one end gives you salted side the other end gives you unsalted side so which end should I open

I always open the end that doesn't have all of the crumbs.

Since they show the 'top' of the cracker as being the salted side, when I pay attention open that end. Otherwise whichever end is pointing up when I grab it out of the box. Now the real kicker is, which end of the box do you open? That I prefer to open from the side. Go figure.
