What can I do with 10# of black malt?

I was gifted some leftovers from a commercial brewer, and amongst them was about 10# of black malt. Most recipes I see that use it only use a very small amount, and I was wondering if anyone had any crazy recipes that use 1+ pounds of black malt for a 5 gallon batch?

I have never seen a recipe that used that much black malt for a porter -- have you made this recipe, or could you share your source?

I did a Courage Russian Imperial Stout clone with ~1 lb in 4 gallons. Turned out well, but you have to adjust your water to counteract the acidity of the malt.

You could also try crushing it and cold steeping it to extract the color while softening the flavor.

No, I said I wanted to use 1+ lbs in a recipe. Ideally, a good one that I could make a couple times.

oh, gotcha. i also just brewed an imperial stout with 1.5lb black.

i also think there's a porter recipe in papazian's book that used a pound....
