A new digital thermometer to replace the old one. Old one was off only 30 degrees. Why was one of my batches a bit thin? Hmmm

The other day I got two vials of White Labs WLP515 Antwerp Ale Yeast. Now I can make the Belgian Pale Ale that I have wanted to brew for some time now but haven't been able to get the yeast, as it is seasonal and a Platinum Vault strain. I am very stoked!

I did a couple of group buys with crazyIrishman. He did a great job but got a lot of heat. I haven't been back in the game of brewing for a while. I need to setup structure. Been too distracted by all the breweries but I want to do more lagers and stouts

This one actually did come in the mail: fresh 1/2" ID "nearly clear" silicone tubing from @Bobby_M for my brew rig, as the wife was complaining about the stanky ones (they were indeed over-ripe after sitting unused for a couple of months )

The brewery is smelling much nicer now!

Ingredients to last me for 3-4 months.

About 30lbs of base grains (mostly pilsner and Vienna), a handful of specialty grains, a few ounces hops, and a couple packages of dry yeast. Time to try my hand at some lagers in the coming weeks.

Northern Brewer Irish red all grain kit with extra grains(carared, caramel 20 & 40, dextrine, Maris Otter) to up the ABV%. Plus a pound of mulling spices to spice the Xmas brew and homemade Gluhwein.

I want to, but the timing hasn’t been good. This year I was seeing my in-laws in the Midwest on the date Paul had it, may next year things will work out, I even have my husband talked into going. Now as far as the trophy, if I don’t touch any brewing equipment or ingredients while I’m there I can’t win, right?
