First post in a while. Drinking local and this beer is worth a post. Getting a brew in tomorrow for the first time in 2 months. Being a new dad zaps all the free time you once had.
Pulled a glass of my hard lemonade. I feel like the sweetness has mellowed some and it’s drinking nicely.
I’m glad @Section1 enjoyed it and I hope @fourfarthing & @TheDudeLebowski enjoy it too.
I currently have a new recipe for a brown porter that'll crash tomorrow and it's very similar to your color. As usual, I wrote the recipe on my mind's tongue (if it can have an eye, it can also have a tongue, okay?). While I was delighted by its color heading into the fermenter, there was an argument to be made that it was a bit too red to call it a porter in good faith.
As a brewer that delights in that fuzzy area between porter, brown ale, and mild, it's reassuring to see a pro beer treading that same ground.
A half pour of my Kolsch. Can’t get a good picture of it, it’s not this dark in person. Keeping up with @TheDudeLebowski trying it today too. Edit - Now I’ll pull some of my Half A$$ed Pils. Still bad lighting but it’s darker than the Kolsch.
