2019 was excellent. 2020 and 2021 growingly average. This 2022 batch is heavily carmelized, undercarbonated, and sticky sweet. Glad I only bought a sixer. God help us if they continue this in 2023. This batch is a mess. Oktoberfest is supposed to be spelled with a K already. Geez…

Got some new Nebraska beers to try today. Flyover’s little satellite distributor had 3 new flavors I haven’t had yet. @ThirstyPawsHB , this is a very good IPA. It’s even crystal clear… something I don’t see very often anymore. I also got a NEIPA and a summer ale. Might try them all tonight.

Another Flyover beer. A summer ale they’re calling a golden ale. Pretty good.
There was an old west trading post of Antoine Robidoux just south of Scottsbluff, NE around 1851 was where the Plains Indians brought their wares for trade. For the immigrant traveling the Oregon Trail, it was one of the first signs of civilization after many weeks of nothing but prairie lands.

A HB Kölsch, followed by an Equilibrium DIPA then Burlington TIPA, then another HB Kölsch (not pictured).
Enjoyed with my neighbor/good friend. He asked what fruit(s) I added to the Kölsch. I replied with “none” & he was shocked. It does have a nice fruity/citrusy kick to it. I’m pleased but the carbonation is a bit lower than I would like.

Giving a pumpkin beer another try tonight. This one advertises itself on the bottle as having a strong pumpkin flavor, and it definitely does have squashy flavor. A little sweet.

Way higher alcohol content than I expected it to have. Feels a little like drinking a fizzy pumpkin liqour
