Saw that one yesterday in the store, how is it? We get quite a few of their beers down here.
"Fixed" HB Hazy. Added about 1/3lbs lactose for some body/sweetness. I use Honey Malt so hopefully that's the darker color. Still have some hop oil to try if needed.

This one is a little young. A few years in the cave will improve it, or not. We'll see.
Welp, the Imperial Stout ended a bit short at 11.2% (only 1 week with Kveik). This is making the beer too bitter for my liking. It is, however, very clean tasting! Luckily I have some Lactose from fixing the Hazy. So many new ingredients (yeast) and changed up the way I brew so guess there's bound to be a learning curve. Going to keg this...only 1 week after brewing....a Russian Imperial Stout...WOW!

First up for me was a Smog City, Little Bo Pils
Followed up with a Firestone Walker Hopnosis ipa (not pictured).
And finally another Smog City Beer. A Coffee Porter. Really heavy on the coffee. May be up all night.

HB Day Continues with a sample of the Russian Imperial Stout
Onto the HB Quad. As mentioned before, there are 2 bottlings. One with CBC-1 bottling conditioning yeast and one with just carb drops. This is CDC which clearly has more gas and dryer. Anyway, "Fun with Quads".... kinda like "Fun with Flags" but different.

A break from HBs. This is too astringent. Basically an ok HB.
After a bit of a drinking hiatus I'm now back and in relative style. Saw one of these at the store and just had to give it a shot, certainly not disappointed. Nice, thick and persistent head, good mouthfeel and some nice roast flavours that remind me of very dark chocolate with hints of coffee.
Pretty tasty hefe. I would prefer more banana and clove but it's a good brew.

Experimenting with getting my HBT pix to upload. Small sample but on a droid it looks like pix taken landscape don't work. Portrait does. @Rish I think you were having problems. Start drinking and taking pix portrait and landscape. Wait til Txbrew finds what I charge as a consultant
