What and where to drink in Atlanta?

Title pretty much says it all, looking for good craft beer and good breweries in the Atlanta area, any help will be greatly appreciated!

Whereabouts in Atlanta will you be? If you can get out to Decatur I really like the Brick Store Pub. They have great food and a lot of craft bees on tap. In Decatur, you can also see the Wild Heaven brewery. I've never been on the tour but have enjoyed all of the beers I've had from them.

The Wrecking Bar is a brew pub in Little Five Points. Good food. Good beer selection. Really interesting location.

+1 for the Wrecking Bar. Good food, cocktails, atmosphere, and beer.

Avoid the large popular breweries (Sweetwater's IPA tastes like sugar).

Avoid Taco Mac. The beer list is great, but "sorry sir we are out of that one, would you like a Sierra Nevada pale ale?"
