An interest in all grain mashing led me to homebrewing. I have bought the fixin's for Centennial Blonde Ale and look forward to a brew day in a couple weeks. Constructing mash tun and brew pot from items knocking around in my shop. I have the rest from other interests. Going low tech and cheap route to see how that goes before throwing too many bucks into the good stuff. Trying to focus on the process and fundamentals before trying to spend my way to success. Looks like a great forum and friendly folks, hopefully my newbie questions won't drive everyone crazy. :)

IMO, what lies between the ears influences the brew more than equipment after the basic stuff is acquired. I'm going to try diligently to stay at a basic level and not give in to the good little consumer mode residing within this thirsty shell.
