Took a brief video of my setup this past Friday night. Quick note, when I show the recirculation I didn't realize the valve was nearly closed, that's why it barely was whirlpooling.

Anyways I've become SOO comfortable in my new system that I created this thread:

Hahahahaha! I don't usually drink (much at least) until after brewing is done. Thanks for sharing this with us, its interesting. Definitely would consider an e-brew system.

Does the wort recirculating through the lid drop into the mash bed from above or is there tubing to put it directly into the grain?

It sprays down onto the grain bed actually, here's a pic of it before I got my mesh basket and was still using a bag
