I actually prefer my american wheat beers to be clear after I noticed the last few glasses from the wheat kegs which are normally clearer had a more crisp taste.

What type of wheat beer? There are all kinds. Some may be fairly called kristallweizens, others not. In any event, it's fine if you think it's fine. What's the problem?
