So my local home brew store was telling me about how instead of vanilla beans they use this nrw vanilla paste. And its suppose to be equal to 3 beans in 1 ozs.

They are also a brewey and use it in all there beer so i tried it, it was also super cheap $4 for 1 oz

So i put my beer in the keg shook the crap out of it to force carb it and pulled my 1st beer and a bunch of vanilla is sitting at the bottom

Did i do something wrong?

Vanilla doesn't dissolve. It settles at the bottom of the container, in this case a keg ....

You should probably invert, roll, or shake the keg a bit to disperse the beer that has most of the vanilla extraction, so it's not only in the bottom gallon.

I think a floating dip tube or shortened tube might help the situation.
