Brewers-
I did a beer exchange with a buddy who works in Wisconsin. Got 48 unique craft brews from the WI state. My top two as of now are ale asylum bedlam and the Lake Louie Warped Speed Scotch Ale.
I can find a few clones and ideas for the Bedlam beer but not the Scotch ale. I think a few beer review sites categorize it as a Scotch Ale/ Wee-heavy. It isn't like the wee- heavies I have had but wanted to get some input from this forum to seek ideas. I would probably try this as all grain but could still be extract at that point still. The warped speed was darn good- even with a severe cold. I am saving a few of the best beers left for when I get most of my taste and smell back. Sweet, malty, potent, and filling. Not like a bourbon scotch ale though.
Any suggestions on good or proven scotch ale recipes?
