Hello im new here ive got a few questions on turning a sankey in to a fermenter..

if i silver solder the ferrules on can i ferment under pressure between 10-15 psi max?

has any of you turned the keg upside down used the flange on the top as a yeast dump? did it work?

I've been fermenting in a 1/2bbl keg for a while now.
I use https://www.brewershardware.com/American-Sanke-Keg-Fermentor-Kit-with-Thermowell.html, I only use it for transfers, but I do so under pressure(5ish psi).
I use a standard 2" lid that has been drilled out and had a bit of racking cane welded to it. I attach a blow-off or airlock as needed for fermentation. I tried once or twice with the item linked above, but found it easier to just use the cap.

I have a buddy taking out the 2" port and adding a 4" so I can change to https://www.williamsbrewing.com/4-Inch-Tri-Clamp-Kegmenter-Lid-with-Ball-Locks-P4741.aspx

The 2" port makes cleaning a bit harder, as well as if you were to flip it over, the 2" port is not smooth(grooves for the keg spear or threading), and I would think that putting it on the bottom might make it even harder to keep sanitary.
