Tubing

Just about ready to get my 3 keggle setup going, anyone have any advice on good tubing to use or where to get it? If like to be able to see the contents going through.

Bobby_M at BrewHardware claims his silicone tubing is the clearest you can get. Have not verified the claim, but I do believe everything that guy says.

BTW, my tubing is about 5 years old and mostly brown. Silicone tubing can get stained from dark malts (e.g., stouts). The stains are permanent. My tubing is still as pliable and functional as the day I got it, so I probably won't bother replacing it.

There's a really good thread on here somewhere about a guy who did the water test through several types of tubing. I'll try to find it for you.

That thread tests beer line (corny keg to taps), not high-temp silicone tubing for boiling applications. Still a useful thread, but I don't think it applies to the current topic.

After I re-read it and saw it didn't contain any info on silicone, I realized that too. Hope it still helps him some
