Tubing questions

I have found braided 1/2" tubing at home depot and it states on the package that it can be used for food use but nothing about hi temps,anybody have any experience with this?
Also wondering about what kind of tubing to use for bottling.

For high heat you want to use silicone. The braided tube is good for about 150F max
