Pretty new to brewing, and I would like to try a Nelson IPA. I've heard a lot of good things about the hops. I'm planning on pairing it with some simcoe to balance it, and keep most of the additions late. What do you think?

11 lbs pale malt
1 lb crystal 40

.5 oz simcoe first wort
.5 simcoe 15min
.5 nelson 10 min
.5 simcoe 5min
.5 nelson 5min
.5 nelson 1 min
.5 simcoe 1 min
1.5 nelson dry hop 7 days
.5 simcoe dryhop 7 days

I did a Nelson IPA just awhile back, LOVE that hop!

I would be interested to hear how it goes with Simcoe, I did mine with cascade and did some heavy late hoping and dry hopping with both. It was a very sessionable IPA. :p
