Transferring mash via 1/2" faucet?

I'd like to transfer (gravitationally, with no filtering) the mash from the 50 L mash tun down to the lauter tun (the 33 L plastic fermenter with a false bottom) and I wonder if the 1/2" faucet and 1/2" silicon hose will make it or do I need a larger (1"?) faucet. I assume I'd be stirring/mixing the mash so that the grain does not settle down during that process.

Anybody tried that and has some experience?

Your asking about transferring the grains, water, everything? I've never done that, but I'm thinking 1/2" pipe is going to get clogged.
