We brewed about 75 litres of WeizenBock. I used mrmalty and another yeast calculator for my yeast starter.
SG 1069
Step 1: 1 ltr
Step 2: 4.5 ltr

All our fermenters overflowed. Did I use too much yeast?

Probably not. Some strains, with higher gravity worts, tend to explode. It will be fine.

Mr. Malty is a pessimist. You probably did overpitch but that isn't the only reason for a fermenter to overflow. Temperature of fermentation and the type of malts used can also cause the fermenter to overflow.

Another reason for fermentor blow off is lack of head space. Some yeasts need much more than others. A Hefeweizen yeast like WY 3068 is one of the yeasts that needs extra head space.

Not so much a pessimist, as he knows a slight over pitch all the time gives another way to be consistent

Edit: I should add, it's really more of a philosophical leaning on his part. :mug:
