Toggle switch for a thermaltake USB fan?

Just got a nifty USB fan for a stir plate I am making- it plugs directly into an iPhone USB charger at 5v.

It has a potentiometer built in, but the pot doesn't turn the fan off completely and I would like to install a simple toggle switch to do so.

Any advice on what type of toggle switch to use? Will a 12v DC switch like the kind used in autos work?

I use a USB switch that has on/off switches to accomplish the same thing. Like this one.

I just unplug mine when I want it to stop
