Ive had my batch in the secondary stage for about a month now, just haven't had time to bottle it yet. All in all its been close to 2 months now total since primary (start up). I know this isn't that long but is there any reason to "not" leave it for too long in the secondary?

In glass. No.
In plastic my only concern would be oxygen permeation through the plastic if long long term. Couple months. I don't think I'd be all that worried about it.

I know I've been guilty of this same exact thing. Life sometimes just gets in the way. I really never had a problem with any of my brews being in a plastic carboy for two months. I've often wondered the same thing, especially now that I am entering more and more beers into competitions. Best of luck.

Is this a toast?

HERE.....is to MUCH TIME in SECONDARY!!!!!!:mug:

I only use buckets. NEVER had oxidation. Even 5 months in secondary turned out great.

Oh good, i might get around to bottling this weekend...or maybe next.
