Three weeks in fermenter + one week in carboy

Can I bottle a brew that has spent three weeks in fermenter + one week in carboy with out any fear of it not carbing correctly.
 
Assuming you know fermentation is comeplete (from stable gravity readings), it should not be an issue in my mind.
 
4 weeks is standard for many people. I do this, and have not yet had a problem with carbonation.
