Just got back from a beer filled long weekend in Chicago with the boys. We went to a winter beer festival in Oak Forest, Il at a pub called the blarney stone. I have been to dozens of beer festivals all around the country and this one was probably one of my favorites.
anyway...
They had a nice spread of Three Floyds brews including Alpha King, Gumball Head, Alpha Klaus, Zombiedust, Black Unicorn, Robert the Bruce, Arctic Panzer Wolf etc.
Every single one was phenomenal and I can see why the brewery is so highly rated.
Plus the event had Goose Island Bourbon county stout and additional drink tickets at a buck each for about a five ounce pour! can't complain with that!
