First time concocting recipe don't know if grain bill will work with style also clueless if hops will play well together I have a ton of summit, warrior, galena, and chinook besides the ones in this recipe. The corn sugar was thrown in to up the alcohol should I reach the alcohol I want by increasing base grain instead? Also if anyone thinks this will be comparable to a commercial beer let me know because right know I am in the dark about how it will taste.

Maybe the only thing i would change is to switch the cascade and Columbus. Other than that it looks pretty solid.
after going back and looking at the recipe again. I have a question? Why the crystal and willamet.
i think the hop flavors may get a little muddled.

The crystal comes from no reason at all so I will probably drop it the williamette is because the 09 AHA national homebrew competition gold medal winner is a cascade and williamette pale ale. I am also going to switch the bittering hop to columbus.

Willamette and Cascade, as that medalist will tell you, play really well together!

I would probably leave out the sugar and just up the maltbill, since Chico will leave a pretty dry beer without any help.

You don't have to be so timid with the Vienna. It's a base malt.
