I'm a teacher, but I work in a multimillion dollar facility. I work in rooms (recording/mixing/post production studios) that may see 7 different instructors in a week. There is a set default for every room that is called "zeroed" or "zeroed out". We work in three week cycles and the curriculum repeats with a new group of students every three weeks (the students get a total of 12 cycles {36 weeks}). Every week 2 Friday I run into problems because the instructor that had the room before me (I know who it is, but will not mention his name) failed to zero out the room the day before. It's annoying that I have to fix someone's problem during my instruction time simply because they were too lazy to fix it their damn selves.
