Not sure if anyone else posted this, but ThermoWorks posted an article about the basics of temperature control for brewing. Kinda neat that they are reaching out to homebrewers directly.

Rather good article for a quick overview of brewing. The part about only tracking the ambient temperature where the fermentor is located not the actual temperature of the fermenting beer is different.
