Basically, I have a chest freezer with a temp controller. i have three kegs and cobra taps. Pretty cheap and easy set up. Last night I had family over and some stupid family member (probably my careless brother who once unplugged our fridge full of food while we were on vacation) removed the probe. Since I wasn’t drinking last night, I didn’t notice it. I get down there this afternoon for a little 4 ounce glass of lunch beer and everything is frozen solid. So I unplugged everything, open the top door and let the long thaw out process begin.

Why question is if anything like the co2 regulator would be damaged by this?

It shouldn't hurt your CO2 system. CO2 gets real cold, freezing cold, when you flow through the regulator with high flow rates so they are designed for that.
