Just did my first bottling tonight - the beer tasted pretty decent so I'm really looking forward to where it's at after 3 weeks or so.

I'll say that I was thinking "some of this cleaning & sanitizing is just ridiculous...does it really make that much of a difference?"

However, I trusted in those who have gone before me & did everything I could. Tonight as I was washing/brushing out bottles, I had dead camel crickets in several, having had stored empties in my basement getting ready for the first brew.

Needless to say, lesson learned.

Buddy Holly's Band Brew?
...Umm...
.....I guess I'm old. Never mind.

Store your empties upside down in the container.
