Greetings from Boston suburbs.
A year ago my kids gave me a basic homebrew kit for Christmas. I knew almost nothing, having brewed one batch of beer in the kitchen about 20 years earlier.
So where did I turn? HBT.
A year later... I'm brewing my 27th batch (Farmhouse Rye). I've done 3 extract brews and 24 all-grain. Right now I have 6 corny kegs tapped in the basement (big Patriots Playoff party at my house last weekend).
Almost everything I know I have learned here, so here's a big shout out to all of you who have helped me develop this obsession.
If anyone in the area wants to swap stories, beers, and recipes, let me know.
