I put sanitizer in it for about 30 minutes, shook it around a few times, dumped it, and put 250mL of yeast cake/slurry into it from the bottom of my fermenter. It will be stored for 7 days before I can do my next brew.
Is this a safe practice? I was planning on taking a cup of wort from the next batch in a sanitized jar, scooping the yeast into the jar with a sanitized spoon, stirring it so it is liquified, and then pitching it.
