Hopefully this topic is allowed.

Hops and cannabis are members of the Cannabaceae family. So that they may share some common characteristics is no surprise, but what is striking to me is the apparent correlation of how they respond to temperature.

Recent research indicates that wort temperature plays a complex role in hop utilization including effects on iso-alpha acids, alpha acids oxidation, beta acids and on a range of other compounds that are present in hops. These effects could be simply considered to be bittering strength and complexity. Temperature also reportedly effects hop terpenes influencing flavor and aroma.

Similarly, research indicates that cannabinoid vaporization temperature effects the efficiency of THC and CBD delivery, as well as effecting cannabis terpenes influencing flavor and aroma.

Does anyone know of research into this apparent correlation and can provide links for further study?

Been 2 weeks, not one response.

No scientific minds have thought of this before?

You want us to help you find research about the volitization rates of compounds in cannabis at varying temperatures? Good luck with that. :)

I think the verdict is still out in regards to flavor/aroma/ibu utilization at varying temps and duration with hops. The data that is out there is all over the place, as well as all of the brewing software giving various results.
Most research on this topic in the cannabis field (up to this point) has focused on the utilization of the mind altering compounds and at what temps that occurs (see the vape community)
