120V 2gal. BIAB pot. MYPIN TA4 controller. I have a 6" temp probe. How would I suspend that in the mash, short of just hanging over the side. I tried a "pot thermometer clip" but thats not going to work. Rim of pot too high above mash and i'd like it more to the middle.

Is that your only temp probe, or is this just another temp reading for gee whiz? I only ask because most folks run them somewhere inline with the recirculation and don't put them directly in the mash.

If your dead set on putting it in the mash you'd needed to figure out a good spot that will give you consistency no matter what your grain bill is.

As far as mounting is concerned I thinking using something like hop spider to mount it to so you can suspend it in the middle of the mash would be best.
