Igliashon sent me a bomber of his Imperial Amber brewed with Pecans to sample and review.

The beer was well carbonated and had a great initial head. The head was nutty and complex and provided a very pleasant aroma. At 7% abv this was not only a very drinkable beer, but one I wish I had more of. It blows anything commercially available out of the water. The flavor is malt forward, with a roasty, nutty flavor coming through. It is not overly bitter, and the hops complement the malt very well. Overall this was a delicious beer that I am going to have to look into brewing myself.

My two minor critiques are that while it had a great head initially, it dissipated rather quickly. Also the clarity could be improved a bit. (granted it could have been the pour) Anyways there were a few floaties that broke up the great amber color.

If this beer was available in a bar, I would seek out the bars that carried it so I could drink it again. This was a great beer that I thoroughly enjoyed drinking and the creativity in the recipe design really came through.

(side note I think the picture is coming out sideways for some reason and I'm not sure what to do about it...)
