Supermarket (Lockdown) beer recipe

Hi all.

In South Africa we can't buy beer during lockdown and I am wanting to start brewing some before I run out of my stock of really nice craft beer. I know that I can make really easy pineapple beer, but I was wondering if I could make something a little better with ingredients from an average supermarket.

All the recipes that I have found so far would need ingredients from a speciality store. Does anybody have a really simple recipe that makes a half decent beer?

Apple juice would be my go to... if you can get whole barley at a feed store, you could make beer.....anyone know if pearl barley will sprout?
