Have s recipe calling this but my LBS was out of stock. Didn’t have dextrin either. Any ideas?

Just swap it for 2-row or anything Crystal 10-20L ( if you are going to use a 10-20L Crystal malt, make sure to use less and add more base malt ). Cara Foam is Carapils, so I guess it is being used for head retention, but you will get it anyway with base malt.

Swap it for the main base malt in the recipe. The stuff doesn’t do what it says it should do in my experience. You get better head retention from a step mash.
