Stuck Soda Keg Valves

Hi All,

I am new here an was looking for some advice. Sorry if this has been posted already. I recently acquired 2 new soda kegs and cannot seem to get either valve off 1 of them. I have even tried to heat the valves up with a heat gun and then wrench them off. Nothing seems to work. Does anyone have any suggestions. These valves are pin lock btw.

You mean the posts? I have no experience with pin locks but I think you need a special socket.

I had the same prob when I got my uses pin locks , I got two also. One was easy ! The other one was a b:;($. But I made my own socket with EASE for $5 ( $4 for socket ,$1 for cutting wheel for grinder ) works great but finally had to have someone else hold it.

Great thanks Zachattack and Creeprsale. I think I am going to try to make a pin socket with a dremil. Lets see how many grinding disks I go through on that thing.
