Stuck corks

I have recently started to make my own wine. So far I have only used kits. My problem is my corks are getting stuck in the bottle. When I try to open a bottle it's just stuck solid and the more I pull it just breaks the cork. Is there anything I can do to avoid this

Are you sure you're using the right size corks for your bottles?

As far as I'm aware they are the correct size. The bottles and corks we purchased from the same supplier at the same time. These were the only size corks they did

How are the bottles being stored?

Once I have bottled the wine I stand them for three days then they are stored on their side

Is the corkscrew going in far enough?

The cork screw is going in far enough. Infact I bought a new one thinking that was the problem
