Stuck corks

I have recently started to make my own wine. So far I have only used kits. My problem is my corks are getting stuck in the bottle. When I try to open a bottle it's just stuck solid and the more I pull it just breaks the cork. Is there anything I can do to avoid this

hmmm I can't say for sure the reason to prevent it in the future but if you find a corkscrew like the one below its good for stuck corks..
