I have loads of coors aluminium bottles but they same to have been electroplated, I was wondering if there are chemicals in the uk to get this stuff off.

Oven cleaner? I know people use it to remove coatings from aluminum wheels. Proceed w/ caution, anything potent enough to work....well you know. If I recall, someone did this in the past around here? Maybe a search? Sandblasting?

I've seen a thread on here using sand blasting and Budweiser aluminum twist bottles. Pictures and all. It was only a few Weeks ago.

Oven cleaner = sodium hydroxide = lye. Aluminum corrodes very, very quickly in the presence of hydroxide. It may get rid of anodization, but it'll get rid of the whole thing too if you leave it on too long.
