What does everyone look for when it comes to the coffee they select for their stouts?

Low acidity roast

I try and match the cuppers scores and tasting profile to what I want in my beer. But I'm a ****** and roast my own coffee.

I've been using good quality roast decaf coffee. I want to be able to drink a pint or two late at night without being up all night. Fair Trade Espresso Monkey is solid.

Coffee stouts are my FAVORITE camping breakfast beverage. Bacon and eggs cooked over a campfire is the best. I generally like unflavored coffee when I brew with it.
