Storing grain in plastic buckets

I was looking to buy a few 5 or 6 gallon buckets to store some grains in bulk. I'll buy some lids to go with the buckets. I guess I can clean everything with PBW before dropping in the grains. Do the buckets need to be lined at all i.e with a wastepaper liner or just drop the grains in ?

I've never even bothered to clean the buckets, let alone line them. I don't think it really matters if the buckets are new. I've used cheap orange homer buckets for years for grain storage.

I use the standard 6.5 gal. plastic buckets with a Gamma lid, they are sealed!
