Stepping up to the plate

Gents,
Over Xmas I was given one of those cheap, brew-at-home kits. After discovering that the beer was actually drinkable (better than coors anyway...for what that's worth..), I've decided to move up in the world to something a little more serious. While I will start off with another extract brew, I do want to get my hands into some partial-mash...Then maybe the gods will smile upon me and grant me success with full mash.
Anyway, just saying 'hello'
