Hey all.
I have inherited three of these kits:
http://www.stpetersbrewery.co.uk/products/beer-kits/ruby-red-ale-beer-kit-duplicate/
The kit consists of two cans of Hopped Malt Extract (Fuggles and Challenger hops), some kind of Generic Brewing Yeast and a sachet of Hop extract.
Now that Ive been all grain brewing for a year now Im wondering if I should just boil the kits, chill and add my own yeast or if I should use the Hopped extract for the basis of a Partial Mash?
Any suggestions would be much appreciated.
Idealy I'd like to brew something close to this:
https://www.homebrewtalk.com/showthread.php?t=141483
But not knowing the Grain Bill of the Kits I guess it will be hard to replicate wit what I have, or will it?
Finally, I dont mind if the Stout is stronger so does anyone know if I could add, say, 50% from the other kits to up the ABV?
Sorry for all the questions and thanks in advance.
Andy
