I use a Coopers FV as my fermenter (the newer one with the krausen collar). I really like it and I haven't have any problems with it yet, but lately I've been having some concerns, particularly with the spigot.

The spigot is just a simple insert-and-lock system with the rubber around the inserts keeping the seal. They fit very tight (which is assuring), and take some force to insert and remove. However, I have been thinking lately that repeated inserting and removing of the spigot may slowly rub away the rubber and eventually cause it to leak. I have yet to have this problem, but I have heard that others had this problem. I suppose it's not a big deal; replacement taps can be purchased (but only from the AU site, which may be needlessly costly), but I was wondering if anyone with the same FV can tell me their experiences. Thanks.
