My first lager, a Vienna Lager, turned out pretty well. Smooth and malty with a mostly clean taste. However, there was a slight yeasty after taste. I am wondering if this is from bottle conditioning, and if kegging would be a better choice for my next lager.
I know to leave 1/4" or so of beer in the bottle, so I don't think that is the cause of the yeasty aftertaste.
I don't have room for a kegging setup, but I am willing to invest in a tap-a-draft if that would help me avoid this in the future.
